A Crash Course in Cloudspotting
«A Crash Course in Cloudspotting» is an intimate audio journey that explores the depths of human relationships and the subversive act of lying down. It is an invitation to pause, to rest, to listen. Over the past five years, Raquel Meseguer Zafe has collected over 250 stories from people with invisible disabilities and chronic illnesses. These are stories of people who need to rest more often in their daily lives, forcing them to lie down or lean in public. This immersive audio installation invites you to dive into the heart of these personal experiences. You have the option to listen to «A Crash Course in Cloudspotting» in your own home or dive deeper into the experience at the Festival Centre on Waisenhausplatz (more information on this site under «tickets»).
Raquel Meseguer Zafe is a British theatre practitioner and identifies as disabled. She acknowledges 'crip' as a tool in her artistic process, and 'rest' as a creative impulse.
For people with vision disabilities
The radio play also works without visual elements. The accompanying booklet is also available as an audio-described version. The Festival Centre is equipped with tactile ground surface indicators.
